Mission Hills, California. Mission Hills is a suburban area that is located in the Los Angeles County region of California. As of the 2000 population, there were just over 3,100 area residents that lived in the Mission Hills area. Of this population the area had a slight margin that was higher in female population.

Many of the homes in the area are filled with families, the average amount of people per home being three. The majority of the over age population has both a high school and a college education. The city of Mission Hills is closer to many bigger cities including: Bakersfield, Los Angeles, Guadalupe, and Santa Maria.
