Thousand Oaks is a family based community of 124,000. The area is home to excellent schools, outstanding parks, and wonderful shopping opportunities.
Incorporated in 1964, Thousand Oaks is still new though they are happy to celebrate each year that comes as that’s one more year they have been a city. Thousand Oaks is known as a master planned community at its best. City services which other communities lack are a basic reality here, these services include: a city-owned library, teen center, senior center, and cultural center.
